Ruby and Hazel are sisters/littermates. Ruby is a bit bigger than her sister and weighs 72 lbs.  Ruby is super laidback and lazy and often compared to Hoochy, our last Basset Hound.  Hooch taught Ruby the fundamentals of napping and being a couch potato. Most of the time Ruby can be found napping in the sun in the back yard or sleeping on the couch.   She likes to get out and play with the rest of the pack but is always the first one to go find a spot to lay down. She thinks its quite foolish to waste so much energy running around when you can watch the fun from a nice shady spot in the yard.  Another lesson learned from Hoochy!
